This was such an exciting wedding to be part of! The talented cake maker is the sister of the bride, and also happens to be a wonderful friend of mine. The car hire company were the same one my husband and I used for our wedding. Plus getting to shoot at local venues and photo spots in my hometown was such a treat! Everyone was so lovely and welcoming, it felt like I just hung out with friends all day. We started the day at Isabella's parents house for bride prep, which also happens to be their amazing pottery studio. Then we headed to the ceremony at the local church with it's beautiful stained glass windows. After that we headed off on a little tour of Birkenhead and Northcote for bridal party photos, going under the harbour bridge and among the trees near their reception venue- The Wharf.  Isabella's parents had their wedding reception at The Wharf back when it was a different venue, so this held extra special sentimental value! It was such an honour to get to photograph this special day.
